North Country Disposal garbage pickup for the township falls on Friday for most residents.
Pick up for the Charley Lakes area is Monday morning.
Bagged garbage and recycling bin must be out on the curb by 6:00 am.

Also note that an open trailer for rinsed glass recycling is located at the township garage, 600 County Road PBC, Ishpeming.
Each Property Owner and/or Resident will be granted a total of 5 tickets, either dump and/or tire tickets, for each calendar year.
If a resident is unable to use the West End Transfer Station for disposal of materials they may use the county landfill upon application and approval. A $100 good faith deposit is required. The resident will then be billed the difference (after the final landfill bill has been received at the Township). Please see the townships Garbage and Recycling Policy and Landfill Permit Application or contact the Township office to get started.
