North Country Disposal garbage pickup for the township falls on Friday for most residents.
Pick up for the Charley Lakes area is Monday morning.
Bagged garbage and recycling bin must be out on the curb by 6:00 am.
Please refer to the latest flyer for what is acceptable to put in the recycling bins.
Also note that an open trailer for rinsed glass recycling is located at the township garage, 600 County Road PBC, Ishpeming.
Each year homeowners and renters may stop in at the hall and receive 4 free dump tickets or tire tickets between April 1 and September 30.
Additional tickets may be purchased at the hall.
If a resident is unable to use the West End Transfer Station for disposal of materials they may use the county landfill upon application and approval. A $100 good faith deposit is required. The resident will then be billed the difference (after the final landfill bill has been received at the Township). Batteries cannot be recycled or placed in the garbage. There are several drop off locations in Marquette County to recycle your batteries. Please refer to the document (posted at left) for locations that participate in battery recycling.
